Teenagers’ lives are full of challenges, pressures and problems. Teens are very busy from sun up to sundown, with very little time to consider values and character development. Sometimes teens are called upon to respond to issues and challenges in their day to day lives to which they have never given any serious thought.

Newness of Life Ministries has produced a booklet called ‘Teen Guide For Life’. This is a small booklet, pocket size, full of very important principals and things teens need to think about before they are confronted with serious issues that can affect the rest of their lives. The purpose of this booklet is to help teens consider many different life situations...before they encounter them.

Teen Principles

Principle 1
God should be the most important Being in your life. The primary source of pleasure in your life should be from pleasing Him.

Principle 2
Putting God in any position in your life other than first is a serious mistake. God does not want to be ignored or taken for granted.

Principle 3
If your communication and speech are pleasing to God, they will also be pleasing to men. Say everything as though God is your audience – because He is!

Principle 4
Rest is a necessity for living an effective life.

Principle 5
Honoring your parents and other God-ordained authorities is self-beneficial.

Principle 6
Have respect for the value of human life - including physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual life.

Principle 7
Adultery is infidelity. It is the absence of faithfulness and trustworthiness.

Principle 8
Only use what you have earned.

Principle 9
Be open, honest, sincere and direct in your conversation and do not repeat anything that you don’t know is completely true or factual. Saying something that you know is not completely true is deception (a lie).

Principle 10

Recognize the value of what you have and be grateful for what you have achieved. Appreciate your blessings.
