"And such confidence we have through Christ toward God. Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourserlves, but our adequacy is from God, who also made us adequate as servants of a new covenant, not of the letter, but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life."
2 Corinthians 3:4-6

As we establish a good spiritual foundation, we want to continue to grow and mature in God’s word. Our objective is to work each day to be like Christ. Newness of Life II is designed for spiritually mature Christians who are interested in more in depth Bible studies.

We rejoice in our inadequacy because it drives the maturing Christian toward God. We attempt to remove the burden of trying to do the will of God by our own strength, but look to the Holy Spirit to provide us with power and strength to accomplish the will of God in our lives.

"As a result, we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves, and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him, who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by that which every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love."  Ephesians 4:13-16

In Newness of Life II, Our objective is to allow God to do great things through our humble selves, freeing Him to do great things that ultimately bring glory to Him. In Psalm 46:10-11 it states, “Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our stronghold.”

In this class we study various books of the Bible completely as well as topical studies. For example, The Parables of Jesus, Rewards and How to Earn Them on Earth, Prayer, Bringing Others to Christ, How to Be A Christian, What Happen To Me When I Accepted Jesus, Apologetics and many other Biblical subjects and topics.
