Newness of Life was developed by Phillip Saxton for the purpose of teaching people the fundamentals of the Christian life. As Mr. Saxton says; “The first and most important thing for the church to accomplish is to bring people into the family of God, the second is to provide them with instruction that leads to spiritual maturity.”

It is not unlike the responsibility we take when we have children. They are born babies into our families and require a great deal of nurturing and training. When we are born into God’s family the same is true. This training is called discipleship training.

There are two Sunday school classes offered at Hebron Baptist Church, Dacula, GA. The first (Newness Of Life I) is based upon 17 lessons which are summarized on this web site. The second class, (Newness Of Life II) is for more advanced Bible study. It is designed for those Christian saints who want to continue to be challenged with Christian growth.

Monthly Bible Study. In addition to those classes, we also offer a monthly Bible study where a meal is shared and in depth Bible studies are conducted on specific questions that have arisen during class time. These monthly Bible studies are scheduled by class members and we meet in member’s homes.

Men’s Breakfast/Lunch. It is important for Christian men to get meet occasionally. This allows for the development of deep friendships while developing our spiritual growth. The dates, location and times for these meetings are set using e-mail.
